It is said that the world has
become a global village and so the competition has become keen because Ghanaian
professionals are competing with people from every country on earth. Challenging
them without been abreast with AutoCAD programmes is like having your hands
tied to your back in a fight.
I can’t believe that there are
people who still use the old drawing board to do the Building drawings. May be you don’t know the advantages that
goes with knowing how to use Cad software, so let me begin;
You save time and do more work
Using the drawing board wastes
your time. Nothing is so annoying when you try to set your paper and the air
from the fan blows your paper away, sometimes unintentionally your work becomes
dirty. With the use of AutoCAD am able to do more work within a shorter period.
You build a good image
Using the old drawing board tells
people you are archaic and have been left behind. On the other hand, using the
computer tells your customers you are in tune with the times and you know what
your are doing. Your respect is assured.
Neat work and easy to edit
Sometimes you do a design and the
customer claims he wants something different. You can just edit easily. Furthermore,
you can edit an old work, make some few changes and you submit it.
Easy to store, retrieve and send
My files are important to me, I am
able to store my designs on my computer or in my email account. I can retrieve
them after several months without any problem. I can also mail the design
easily as well.
It gives employment
If you are a fresh graduate it is
easier to get a job in a firm if you know how to use the CAD software. Furthermore,
because it is easier to use and faster to work with, you can do your own part
time jobs after work. You can teach it or do designs for people.
These are some of few reasons why
I like AutoCAD and enjoy teaching it. There are some people who don’t know how
to use the programme well and others who don’t know how to use it all, both of
them need to upgrade themselves if they want to move ahead in their profession.
Thanks for reading.
